A dark shadow shook off smaller shadows, moving fluidly and yet still managing to show agitation with her gaurdians. A soft, nondescript voice dismissed the small creatures with a single sound, a low hum in the throat like an angry bee, and they disappeared to heavens know where in an instant.
The larger shadow moved around the perimeter of the room, kneeling and bowing its head in front of each of the four statues before returning to the one on the utmost right. Here the shadow entered into the light, revealing a fair woman that knelt and splayed her hands on the floor in obeisance, showing that she was a preistess of said deity.
Brown hair fell silkenly over almost bare shoulders as rough lips moved fervently, though in thought or prayer it was unknown. Her voice was a low, husky hum, coming from deep in her chest and rising through the throat and out the lips, like phlegm- only much, much more pleasant.
Warm brown eyes were hidden beneath thin, near translucent eyelids, and her words rose to become more audible, though they made no sense to one not of the highest rankings.
"Minam Te'hire alei jeni ko pler ty min weu ia..."
After several minutes of what seemed to normal ears to be inane babble, the words descended into normalcy, though she spoke so fast that anyone would be hard pressed to understand her mumbles.
"Goddess Te'hire, mother of all, grant me your blessings and shelter me under your wings and in your heart. Save me from all evils that threaten to tear my heart away from this path, distract those that wish to steal my soul. I ask of you, Goddess, Mother, save your lowly child, keep me from straying, let not my trespasses be noted as that of evil..."
